André Kunze

André Kunze was born on July 21, 1969 in Gummersbach. He lives in Nümbrecht with his wife and
two sons.

As a graduate in banking (studies at the Bankakademie) worked for Dresdner Bank for more than
11 years, mainly as an investment advisor in the upmarket retail banking business. Most recently,
he was team leader for bank.

Afterwards he worked as branch manager for more than 3 years at Fund-Market Deutschland GmbH,
a subsidiary of the renowned private banks Bankhaus Lampe KG and Banque de Luxembourg S.A..

André Kunze is a founding partner and managing director of the companies of the Prometheus Group,
which were founded in 2005.

Since the early 2000s, he has been intensively involved in the development of rule-based and systematic
investment strategies that take equal account of the criteria of profitability and risk management. In 2015,
this resulted in the collaboration between Prometheus AM and Ziad Chahal, a passionate and
experienced trading system developer with more than 3 decades of experience in this field. The trading
strategies used in the alphatrend Fund are based on this collaboration.
