Marc Pasdag was born on 17.05.1974 in Oberhausen. He still lives there today with his
wife and son.

After completing his apprenticeship as social insurance specialist, he initially worked for
a good 4 years as a self-employed investment advisor.

He then worked as an investment advisor at SJB FondsSkyline 1989 OHG, one of the
pioneers in independent fund advisory.

Afterwards he worked as an investment advisor at Fund-Market Deutschland GmbH in
Düsseldorf, a subsidiary of the renowned private banks Bankhaus Lampe KG and Banque
de Luxembourg S.A. Here he met André Kunze, with whom he later laid the foundation for
the Prometheus Group of companies.

Since 2005, Marc Pasdag has been a founding and managing partner for the companies
of the Prometheus Group.  

Even before that, he had worked with André Kunze on systematic and purely rule-based
investment strategies that aimed to replicate the long-term returns of equity investments
without the price risks associated with equities.

The collaboration of Prometheus AM with the experienced trading system developer
Ziad Chahal, which started in 2015, ultimately resulted in the alphatrend Fund with its
diverse, largely uncorrelated and equally robust and profitable trading strategies.
